Tea and Bubbly Beginnings

Happy New Year and Hello 2016!

Let’s ease into the New Year with elegance, grace and an epic afternoon tea or brunch! In one of the most pristine and beautiful settings in Los Angeles you will find The Wolfgang Puck restaurant nestled within the hidden gardens of the Bel Air Hotel. Offering you and your little royals an assortment of bubbles, tea, savory bites and an assiette of delightful sweets.

Dine on the lovely garden patio and enjoy the classic presentation of assorted tea sandwiches like the Maryland Blue Crab “Roll”, Herb Remoulade with Japanese Cucumber, Herb Cream Cheese, Pan De Mie House Cured Smoked Salmon, Dill Cream & Brioche, Micro Arugula Organic Jidori Chicken Salad, Golden Raisins on Walnut Bread Sourdough, “Grilled Cheese” Sandwich of Gruyere Wild Mushroom Duxelle & Laura Chenel, a Goat Cheese En Croute, and Warm scones. Following, your taste buds will savor in sweet endings like the Chocolate Dipped Cream Puffs, French Macaroon, Pistachio Financier, Huckleberry Cheesecake, Alfajores, and of course, Dulce de Leche!

Paired with an extensive list of Champagnes from France, don’t be shy and indulge in a cool glass of Moët & Chandon “Dom Pérignon” or my personal favorite, Rosé along with the loose leaf tea selections which are flavorful, soothing and will surely hit the spot. Try the White Silver Needle Young, Narrow Tea Leaves Picked Before they Unfurl or a Green Sencha with Aromatic Notes Of Cut Grass and Sea Foam. The Genmai Cha Matcha of Sencha Leaves, Puffed & Roasted Rice is quite nice, but the Hojicha Roasted Late Summer Harvest Tea Lung Ching Dragon is a personal fave with its Rich, Nutty, Butter Finish. Now Ladies, who’s ready to sip in the new year? I am!
